There are 858 thousand acres in the Chequamegon National Forest with hundreds of miles of winding trails that will take you through the landscape of northern Wisconsin. Enjoy the hospitality that northern Wisconsin has to offer! Our season stretches from December through March so there’s plenty of time to take it all in. The northern Bayfield County’s totally integrated trail network system is maintained by the local snowmobile alliance. Northern Wisconsin delivers some of the best snowmobiling in the Midwest. Because the area benefits from the lake effect snow, riders are fortunate to have an extended season and experience snow conditions that rival that of northern Michigan. After a day riding the trails, relax in one of our cabins and reflect on the day or take time to relax at the Valhalla View Pub & Grub which is located near the Valhalla Trail Lodge. The Pub & Grub offers a full menu with great food and a friendly atmosphere. Come explore northern Wisconsin and experience this snowmobile paradise for yourself.
